Two of the most important institutions in the city – education and healthcare – are very close to 100 Bond. Ontario Tech University’s Bordessa Hall (4-minute walk) and Charles Hall (5-minute walk) are near the 100 Bond building. It’s perfect for students and faculty.

Lakeridge Health Oshawa and other medical clinics are also in close proximity (a 3-minute car ride for Lakeridge Health). We hope you never have to use these services, but you will feel calm knowing they’re right there.

2. Entertainment

Some of the most important cultural hubs are within walking distance. For example, the famous BOND ST Event Centre is a 3-minute walk away. Countless concerts, comedy events, acoustic live performances, country stars, and other big names are hosted there. For people who prefer more local experiences, BOND ST Event Centre has hosted Battle of the Bands – an event where local bands compete for the cash prize. With something for everyone, you will definitely find your favourites there.

For sports and big concerts, the Tribute Communities Centre (6-minute walk) is also near 100 Bond. It is home to the Oshawa Generals Hockey Club, where they play their home games. Various sports events and major concerts are held there. It’s best to visit this 5,500-person-capacity arena in person, and you will fall in love with the atmosphere.

3. Groceries and Transit

For important everyday needs, many local grocery stores are nearby, and Costco is a 5-minute walk away. If you don’t feel like cooking, visit one of the many coffee shops or bakeries and you will be amazed by their fresh food and drinks.

Another important aspect is transportation. Bus stops are within walking distance, and Oshawa GO Train Station is a 10-minute car ride away.
