Your 10-Minute Escape to Lakeview Park

Modern playground tower with spiral slide and a tree-lined park path under sunny skies, promoting a quick escape to Lakeview Park.

The constant rhythm of Downtown Oshawa can be exhausting. To refresh your inner strength and “zone out” a little, there is a great place for a family day out, a personal hideout, or a company BBQ.

Lakeview Park is a 69-acre green zone with dedicated picnic spots and tables, kids’ playgrounds and splash pads, and a beach with a view of the Port of Oshawa.

The Oshawa Museum, located inside the park, features heritage houses and exhibits on the lifestyle of early Oshawa settlers.

On the other side of the park is the Jubilee Pavilion, a great historic landmark of the city. Originally hosting live bands and dances, today it operates as a Banquet & Conference Centre, and as a popular spot for weddings among Oshawa couples.

This is the closest route from the 100 Bond building to Lake Ontario. Just 10 minutes south by car, you can reconnect with nature and have a great time in one of the best Oshawa parks.
