Just steps from the 100 Bond residence, you’ll find a quick escape into nature and one of the city’s best multi-use trails – the Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Bike Path. The Oshawa Creek Bike Path is a paved 7 km car-free corridor, ideal for traveling through the southern part of Oshawa up to Lakeview Park.
The closest entrances near the 100 Bond location are behind the Robert McLaughlin Gallery or at the Bond St. bridge, a few blocks west. This means it takes only 4-5 minutes by bike from 100 Bond to join one of the most important city bike arteries and to quickly reach the beach or just enjoy nature, which is highly valued in the downtown area. Upon reaching Lakeview Park, the Oshawa Creek Bike Path merges with the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, which connects Oshawa to the rest of the province’s Great Lakes coastline.
In the winter season, the path is cleared and maintained, which makes it a perfect year-round route for both cyclists and runners.
